PM Rama: 62 million euros for spring bonus for pensioners, payment set to begin on March 1

TIRANA, February 20/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama reiterated today that the spring bonus for the pensioners will be paid starting from March 1.

Speaking with citizens in his “Eye to Eye” feature in the social media, PM Rama reminded the fake news spread of the pensioners who have not received the promised bonus.

Hence, I publish again the government decision dated January 9 for the payment of the spring bonus to the pensioners and which will be paid starting from March 1”, said Rama.

“According to the plan and while we deliver to the promise made, the bonus is 62 million euros, which is not a small amount for the budget of our Republic. And for all those who receive up to 200 euros in pension, it will be a 100-euro bonus. And for those who receive over 200 euros in pension, it will be a 50-euro bonus”, said Rama.

“So, beginning from March 1 onwards, the pensioners will be able to withdraw the spring bonus. The money will be available and there is no doubt that we say what we do and do what we say”, said Rama. /r.e/a.f/p.s./
