TIRANA, February 18/ATA/ Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha received today the new Italian Ambassador to Albania Marco Alberti.
Hoxha wrote in social media that he held a very good conversation with ambassador Alberti.
The minister underlined further that, “We shared the view that bilateral relations are excellent and we noted the full commitment of the parties to develop the strategic partnership”.
“Albania remains ready to continue the close cooperation with friendly Italy, in areas of mutual interest, focused on security issues”, stressed Hoxha.
Further on, Hoxha added that he spoke with the ambassador about strengthening the fight against crime, organized crime and trafficking, through joint investigative structures and the analysis of criminal information.
“I once again expressed my gratitude for the support provided by the Italian side in the field of integrated border management, through the donation a few days ago of two ships to our Border Police, for monitoring maritime space,” Hoxha concluded the post. /j.p/p.s./
