TIRANA, Jan 22 /ATA/ The contribution of our Armed Forces to international missions continues to grow.
Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, explains that, “Along with strengthening domestic capabilities, the Armed Forces are progressively enhancing their involvement in international missions and operations, not just in terms of numbers, but also in the breadth of military commitments supporting peace worldwide.”
“In 2025, the Armed Forces will strengthen their presence with 50 troops in the KFOR mission in Kosovo, ALTHEA in Bosnia and Herzegovina, NSATU, and the Interflex Operation—both of the latter supporting Ukraine—underscoring Albania’s active role in advancing peace, security, and stability worldwide,” Vengu emphasizes in a social media post.
