TIRANA, January 17/ATA/ In these winter days, Mount Tomor has been covered with a blanket of snow offering a picturesque view.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media a view of the Abbas Ali Türbe on Mount Tomor.
“Postcard from Mount Tomor,” Rama wrote.
Abbas Ali Tomb is located on Mount Tomor, which is a tourist destination for adventure lovers, observers and of course for the believers who make pilgrimages.
Mount Tomor lies northeast of the city of Çorovoda, at a distance of about 20-25 km and has the status of a National Park. One can do mountain climbing on the snowy slopes or rafting adventurers in the Osumi canyons.
At the feet of Tomor Mount, there flows the Osumi River, descending from very mountainous terrain and creating its famous canyons, which are very popular, especially during the summer season.
But, not only the canyons, this itinerary also includes several cult objects of the Christian and Bektashi religions as well as monuments of nature and culture. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
