TIRANA, December 27/ATA/ Shiroka, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Shkodra, even in these winter days attracts the attention of local visitors, but also those from other countries.
“Shiroka is beautiful even in the cold of winter,” wrote Prime Minister Edi Rama in the social media, about one of the beauties of Shkodra, which is located only 4 kilometers from the city, after crossing the Buna Bridge.
PM Rama published today some photos from Shiroka, an amazing beauty on the shores of Lake Shkodra and at the foot of Mount Tarabosh.
In recent years, in Shiroka there have been made investments that have changed its face, giving it a new road, a pedestrian path, the shores of the lake, the rehabilitation of small beaches and, most recently, a pier for sailing boats.
The fresh air, which comes from the depths of the Alps, makes Shiroka one of the most special attractions to spend a few hours differently for Shkodra residents, but also for local and foreign tourists.
Shiroka, also known for its healing features, has a history of hundreds of years and this can be shown by several archaeological discoveries, in the place called “Ullini i vetun”, which are today in the city museum. /r.e/p.s./
