TIRANA, Dec 23 /ATA/ The opposition is staging its next protest in the capital on Monday. Sali Berisha, the leader of the Democratic Party, who joined the protesters in person after more than a year, stressed that civil disobedience is the code for overthrowing the dictator.
Berisha emphasized that forms of civil disobedience have also unfolded in the Assembly, adding that this civil disobedience is in the interest of every citizen and that they will not stop until their objectives are achieved: a caretaker government and free elections.
“I greet all the citizens of Tirana and assure them that this civil disobedience is in the interest of every citizen of Tirana and Albania, and that we will not stop until we achieve our objectives: a caretaker government and free elections.”
“Civil disobedience is the code for overthrowing the dictator. There are 15-20 forms of civil disobedience unfolding in parliament and everywhere. All that matters is that the civil disobedience project achieves its goals. With Rama, there are no elections, only a battle for elections, and we are very clear about that,” said Berisha
“Nothing can stop Democrats from achieving their objectives. Today is one of the most special days of December, but today is again the day of the Democrats. Here we are, on duty. In protest. In revolt. In civil disobedience, against the narcotic dictator. This winter promises to be difficult, both for the servant of Tirana and for the master of Belgrade.”
