TIRANA, Dec 11 /ATA/ The Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, stated on Wednesday that the 2025 grant call for Albanian startups has been opened for young people across the country.
“An opportunity that supports all young people to turn their inspiration into a project, with special encouragement for the youth of Gjirokastra who have created success stories through startups, to continue this innovation by applying until December 30,” said Kumbaro in a post on Facebook.
The Minister highlighted that “the Albanian government is allocating 300 million lek to promote innovation and new enterprises, so check out the criteria and advance your business idea with this support.”
The program for supporting startup companies and their facilitators through grants and support measures for 2025 has been established by the Albanian government to stimulate innovative entrepreneurship by providing funding for the most promising Albanian startup companies.
The funding provided by the Albanian government under the 2025 grant support program will cover 100% of the total project costs for winning applicants in the first phase, Concept Development Phase; 85% of the costs for winning applicants in the second phase, Validation Phase; and 75% of the costs for applicants in the third phase, Expansion and Internationalization Phase. The implementation period for projects in 2025 will be approximately 9 months.
