TIRANA, December 5/ATA/- The State Labor Inspectorate and the General Directorate of Taxes signed a “Memorandum of Cooperation” in context of the joint action against informality.
This agreement is considered an important step towards strengthening efforts to combat informality in employment and wages.
The memorandum carries the concrete steps and joint actions, the cross-checking and exchange of information in real time, the identification and monitoring of problematic entities for frequent controls and more effective inspections.
As part of the action against informality, the two institutions focus on raising employers’ awareness of the correct declaration of wages and social security contributions for every employee in Albania, a process that guarantees abiding by the law and protection of decent work. /p.s./
