TIRANA, Nov 27 /ATA/ The institution of President of the Republic opened its doors on Wednesday to a group of Albanian-American children who are in Albania to celebrate Independence Day.
“The group, made up of dancer-artists, is part of the ‘Albanian Roots’ association, led by Marko Kepi. With roots in Albanian regions and active in New York, the students and members of the association have preserved their native language and the traditions of their ancestors.”
The Head of State expressed his appreciation for the group of artists, who passionately continue to nurture their love for the country and its traditions, and congratulated them on their efforts. President Begaj highlighted the potential for collaboration and the opportunities for future visits to the “Albanian Roots” gathering in the United States.
Marko Kepi, the leader, extended appreciation to President of the Republic on behalf of the association, thanking him for fulfilling his commitment and for his dedication to the Albanian nation and all Albanians.
