TIRANA, Nov 27 /ATA/ As part of the project supporting regional economic integration, implemented by GIZ with the support of the German government and the EU, a series of meetings were held in Tirana with representatives from the General Directorate of Customs.
In a bid to enhance the National Risk Management Strategy, a meeting was held on November 25th with international experts, who shared the latest developments.
On the other hand, the meeting recognized and valued the role and support of the Albanian customs administration in regional economic integration.
In this context, on November 26th and 27th, representatives from the customs administrations of the CEFTA region held a meeting to further enhance cooperation in developing a more refined model for regional customs risk management.
Additionally, this regional meeting focused on cooperation between border agencies in order to facilitate interregional trade on a common front.
