TIRANA, November 25/ATA/ Specialists from the Protected Areas Agencies of Shkodra, Vlora, Lezha, Durrës, Berat and Fier are on the ground to carry out the “Winter census of western Dalmatian pelican”.
This activity is being carried out in accordance with all necessary protocols and in collaboration with ornithological experts, represented by environmental and nature-loving organizations.
The Agency of Protected Areas- Durrës affiliated branch is located in the area of the PTUM “Bisht Kamza” to carry out the monitoring of Dalmatian Pelicans. There, they have also encountered the presence of flamingos, plover, herons, etc. /a.f/p.s./
