TIRANA, Nov 20 /ATA/ – A street in Philadelphia, the United States of America, has been named after Albania’s National Hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, the Minister of State for the Relations Taulant Balla with Parliament said on Wednesday.
“A moment of pride for Albanians in Philadelphia as a street in the city was named after our national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. Gratitude to the ‘Sons of Albania’ association for their perseverance and everything they do every day for Albania and Albanians,” Balla wrote in a post on the social media.
This is the third street in the U.S. city named after Skanderbeg.
