Bardhi: DP is determined to increase pensions at any cost

TIRANA, Nov 13 /ATA/ The Chairman of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, highlighted his legal proposal for pension raise in March of this year.

In his proposal, the aim is to ensure that within the first year, the minimum pension would not be below 200 euros to increase it progressively each year and ensure that the minimum pension reaches no less than 300 euros within a reasonable timeframe.

Bardhi writes that pension raise must become a reality at any cost and should be an absolute commitment of the Democratic Party.

“The pension raise is an undelivered promise in every campaign of Edi Rama, who repeats it every time he needs to garner support from voters and instead has made fun of the group that deserves the utmost respect,” writes Bardhi.

According to Bardhi, the increase in the minimum pension brings about a progressive increase in the amount of the pension for every pensioner.

“Nobody deserves more respect for their sacrifice and work than our pensioners,” writes Bardhi. /j.p/sm/
