TIRANA, November 1/ATA/ The urban requalification of Vlora-Radhima-Orikum coastline, or Lungomare 3, has already entered an important phase of implementation. There are being made a series of fundamental interventions that completely recompose the coastal area while the priority is given to the holidaymakers.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media some images of the work site and wrote that the work has also begun on design of the Lungomare 4 project.
Rama wrote that the coast of Orikum will also be included in the transformed map of the Reborn Vlora.
“Lungomare 3 is taking shape from the Cold Water Tunnel beyond Radhima, while we work with the Lungomare 4 project, where the coast of Orikum will also be included in the transformed map of the Reborn Vlora”, wrote PM Rama.
An important part of the project is improvement of the beaches through building piers for the boats and holidaymakers, as well as requalification of the surrounding buildings in cooperation with private owners.
According to the project, the promenade is 5 meters wide, mostly green, with trees adapted to the climate of the area, such as pine, palm, citrus, etc./r.e/p.s./
