Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media views of the Valbona River in autumn.
“You could hear the Valbona River gurgling down in the valley as the first sun’s rays of the day light the whole valley”, wrote Rama in a post in the social media.
Autumn with the warm temperatures has brought on a magical atmosphere, while the shades of the earth’s colors have covered the entire Valbona valley.
The valley of Valbona is the most visited tourist area in the district of Tropoja, even one of the most visited in the Albanian Alps after the valley of Theth.
This area of rare beauty is preferred not only by local tourists, but also by foreign tourists, who would like to get acquainted with the customs and traditions of the northernmost villages of the country.
The nature of this park is rich in varieties suitable for tourism, fishing and mountaineering. In the inner part of the Park there are many interesting caves, of which the Dragobi Cave stands out. It has a mountainous climate with harsh winters, abundant rainfall and low temperatures, as well as long periods of frost and wind.
Many visitors from different countries of the world, as well as others from Kosovo, are present every day and all year-round in the tourist spot of Valbona, a tourist area that has earned a good reputation, through the hospitality and tranquility it offers.
The trip starts via Drini River to Tropoja and then Valbona is just 45 minutes away.
The blue color of Valbona is like no other river. As you travel, the color of the river fascinates you, while on both sides rise the high mountains that, even at the beginning of summer, continue to have their peaks covered with snow. /p.s./
