TIRANA, October 24/ATA/ The American Culture Week is closed with a stunning Fashion and Innovation Exhibition featuring renowned designer Noor Bchara and talented students from the University of Arts, who showcased their unique upcycled creations.
The US Chargé d’affaires in Tirana Nancy VanHorn, together with Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja and Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation Lira Pipa joined the show and the festivities.
“The Jeans are a symbol of independence, innovation and sometimes, breaking the rules. And I think that is what we’re going to see here this evening in this incredible fashion show… And just as I’ve seen in my meetings of the last few months here in Albania, the energy that young Albanians have, the creativity they have, I think it’s going to be in full display,” – said VanHorn
The night was filled with joy, music, and fun, including the “Robotics Corner” from American Corner Tirana and a mini-fair featuring local women entrepreneurs supported by U.S. Embassy programs. /a.f/r.e/p.s./
