TIRANA, Oct 8 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama stated Tuesday that a merit-based recruitment system has been firmly established thanks to the consolidated public administration reform.
Addressing a meeting with young people on the launch of the National Internship Programme, the government head dismissed allegations of nepotism in recruitments for public administration jobs.
“If the results of the public administration competitions were to be predetermined, then one third of them were not to fail without a winner and no winners are announced, because strong criteria are set,” PM Rama said.
PM Rama said that around 95% of winners for internship programme are selected under a merit-based system.
