TIRANA, October 4/ATA/ Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku stated today that Albania has taken a key role in the Fourth Global Summit for the Prevention of Ransomware, organized by the White House.
“We are leading a project that aims to strengthen the regulation of virtual assets and stop the illegal flow of funds that support the ransomware industry,” said Balluku.
Balluku also published the announcement of the White House in which it is emphasized that, “This project improves the regulation of virtual assets and disrupts the payment ecosystem that powers this dangerous industry”.
With this initiative, Balluku pointed out, Albania proves its commitment to international cooperation and strengthening global security. /r.e/p.s./
