TIRANA, Oct 1 /ATA/ The British Embassy in Tirana expressed concern over the acts of violence and burning of chairs in the Assembly during yesterday’s parliamentary session by opposition deputies.
The British Embassy writes that violence has no place in democracy.
“The British Embassy urges all Albanian political parties to engage in constructive dialogue and peaceful parliamentary processes,” the post reads.
“The British Embassy condemns activity which seeks to undermine these principles, and remains committed to supporting Albania’s people and democracy.”
