TIRANA, Aug 29 /ATA/ Electricity use by consumers in the second quarter of 2024 decreased by 0.3% reaching 1,475 GWh from 1,479 GWh in the second quarter of 2023.
The decline in electricity use by consumers is attributed to non-family consumers, where electricity consumption has decreased by 2.3%.
The energy consumed by households increased by 2.1%.
Net domestic electricity production in this period decreased by 18.9%, reaching 1,841 GWh from 2,269 GWh of energy produced in the second quarter of 2023
