TIRANA, August 27/ATA/ Justice Minister Ulsi Manja held a working meeting today with US Chargé d’Affaires Nancy VanHorn.
The Ministry of Justice issued in a press release providing some details from the meeting held today at the venues of the Ministry of Justice in Tirana.
According to the press release, during the meeting the minister congratulated Mrs. VanHorn on her new job and openly discussed the progress of justice reform in Albania, including achievements and future challenges.
Both sides shared the common stance for more close cooperation in key and irreversible reforms in the field of justice. The minister spoke about the great work being done by the technical staffs of both countries in Tirana, for strengthening the institutional and human capacities in the law enforcement agencies, which are affiliated to the Ministry of Justice.
During the meeting, the interlocutors expressed the joint commitment to uphold the rule of law and full implementation of the justice reform as Albania’s irreversible path forward towards Euro-Atlantic aspirations./a.f/p.s./
