TIRANA, Aug 22 /ATA/ Minister of Education and Sport Ogerta Manastirliu hosted in a meeting the barrister Eva Buzo, who swam 92 km from the coast of Italy to Vlora a few days ago.
“Impressive conversation with Eva Buzo, an incredible example of courage and perseverance. Eva showed to us that any obstacle can be overcome when you believe in yourself,” Manastirliu said in a post on social media.
Minister Manastirliu pointed out that” this success for Eva was not only a dream come true, a wish honoured, but also a source of inspiration for our young people to make sport part of their lives and personal attainments”.
Buzo finished on Aug 19 her 92 km swim journey, which lasted 34 hours, from the coast of Lecce (San Focca) to the Karaburun Peninsula, where she touched the Albanian land near Cape of Gjuheza.
