TIRANA, Aug 18 /ATA/ Tirana Artificial Lake Park has become the most popular destination for Tirana citizens in recent years.
Tirana Municipality investments have transformed this park not only with the bicycle lanes, boat piers, but also by creating sports and entertainment corners, which are frequented by citizens of different age groups.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Sunday on social media photos from the Grand Park, which he described as a serene oasis of Tirana.
Investments in roads, construction of children’s parks, planting of trees, waste bins, sports corners, gardens and lighting make the park a preferred destination for the capital.
The new promenade fitted with pedaling and running tracks, with new lighting network, interconnecting alleys, outdoor gym, as well as multisport fields have become attractions for hundreds of capitals. The Lake Park has also been added the Pagoda, an original building that introduces the Chinese tradition of construction to Albania, serving as a place of relaxation and conversation among friends.
The pier of Lake Tirana has been renovated in the park where other than the stairs it was built from the scratch. To be accessible even in the evening hours, the green park has been lit up.
