Balla invites high school graduates to continue their studies at Security Academy

TIRANA, July 18 /ATA/ Minister of Interior, Taulant Balla, invited on Thursday high school graduates who have ambitions to join the State Police ranks, to apply to the Security Academy.

During a meeting with graduates of the “Ismail Qemali” high school in Tirana, Balla introduced them to the education opportunities offered by the Academy for the young people, and especially for guaranteeing a decent job and very wide career opportunities in the public administration.
“As you weigh the direction you want your life to take, take into consideration our proposal that, after completing secondary education, you should complete your ‘Bachelor’ studies at a certified educational institution, such as the Security Academy. After 3 years of study at the Faculty of Security and Investigation, you will receive not only the ‘Bachelor’ degree, but also a police rank, ‘Deputy Commissioner’. This will open up a new opportunity in your life, not only to join the State Police organization, but as soon as you finish your studies at the university, you will have a guaranteed job, this is only offered by the Security Academy. From the first day of admission, there is a system of contract, payment and safe workplace”, Balla said in a conversation with the young men and women.
“We have 100 quotas in this first year. I want to guarantee you that the Security Academy is an institution that has very good professors with vast experience. But we will also invite professors of police academies from different countries, USA, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy among others and other countries that have a very rich tradition. I encourage the Director of the Academy to have as many partnerships as possible in order to transform the SA of Tirana into an important university center with a security profile, not only for Albania, but for the entire Western Balkans”, said the minister.
