TIRANA, July 15/ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Anila Denaj said today that the works for protection against erosion of the Devoll River in Desare area have already been completed.
The minister emphasized that this is an important investment that guarantees the protection of 280 hectares of land, planted mainly with fruit crops, increasing the development of family economies that rely on these products.
For years, the agricultural lands in that area were in danger of being destroyed by the erosion of the rivers Osum and Devoll. /r.e/p.s./
