TIRANA, July 8 /ATA/ – The use of technology and innovative practices in agriculture as a step towards improving agricultural productions is priority for the relevant institutions and farmers across the country in their effort to boost agriculture sector.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Anila Denaj shared Monday images of the Center for the Transfer of Agricultural Technologies in the south-eastern region of Korça.
The focus was on improving the technology of irrigation, fertilization and agro-technical works in accordance with the development, stability and adaptation of cultivars (barley, wheat, potatoes and beans) to climatic conditions.
“The results achieved will help farmers in choosing the best cultivars for high production and sustainability”, Denaj said.
According to her, this knowhow transfer will improve extensive cultivation in the Korça region and the entire country.
