TIRANA, June 29/ATA/ The young doctors, who begin this current year their 4-year medical specialization, have signed bilateral contracts with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to serve at the hospital structures.
Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu held a meeting with young doctors whom she described as the main guarantee and force to remove the ugly corruption shadows in the health corps.
“A meeting with the young generation of doctors is always inspiring. They have chosen Albania to contribute in the noble profession of the doctor”, said Koçiu.
The minister underlined that, “These young doctors are the guarantee and the main force to remove the ugly shadows that cannot and will never be able to undo that work achievement, extraordinary professional and dignified contribution and sacrifice that their predecessors have made in the field of health at the service of citizens having as the main purpose saving and protecting their lives”.
Koçiu guaranteed that the motto of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection is “Work and honor” while she tried to support and encourage these young professionals on their long and noble path.
She called on young doctors not to forget that a good professional should essentially be a good person.
“Being a good person means being humanistic, altruistic, looking beyond personal interest, looking at the general interest, at the public interest. You have the weight of a very big responsibility on your shoulders, apart from saving people’s lives, also to become good models of good citizens of this country. I want to express to you once again the readiness of the Ministry of Health to stand by your side and to be fellow travelers in your journey in service to the citizens”, said Koçiu. /p.s./
