Rama: It is needed a harmonized anti-corruption mechanism in all institutions

TIRANA, June 26 /ATA/- By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama, also chairman of the Socialist Party, said on Wednesday that “we must not in any way allow the negotiation process to be uncoordinated,” emphasizing that “it is necessary to have a harmonized anti-corruption mechanism in place.”

At the meeting of the SP parliamentary group, Rama emphasized that “we must increase the momentum.”

“The progress made is very important to be understood and embraced in its content by all those who are involved in this national team, because we must in no way allow this process to be uncoordinated among all the players of this team. At the end of the day, we are Albania at the negotiating table. We all wear a jersey, with different numbers, according to the institutions we represent,” said Rama.

The Prime Minister emphasized the need to have uniformity in movement as a team that clearly knows what are the objectives, strategy, tactics and position on the field of each one.

“This process can only be completed through cooperation.

“If we look at the entire diagnosis, we also see what has been done in Albania in all these years against corruption and how much still needs to be done to guarantee a state that is also a harmonized mechanism in the entirety of its anti-corruption institutions. Anti-corruption should be extended to all segments of the state in the way institutions function, and that human subjectivity would find less space to intervene”, said Rama.
