TIRANA, June 25/ATA/ The works are going ahead for the construction of Elbasan-Qafë Thane road, phase III of the project.
The Albanian Road Authority reported that side by side with the works on the road, the work continues on the construction of two bridges in the area of Murrashi and the construction of works of art.
According to the Road Authority, the work on this site is making progress at a good pace and will continue without interruption until the full completion of this project.
Elbasan-Qafë Thane road is part of Corridor VIII.
The first two lots of the Elbasan-Qafë Thane road are located along the Shkumbin River, while lots three and four continue along the hills in the area of Murras and Librazhdi.
The construction of this road will facilitate the movement of vehicles, cut the travel time and simultaneously increase road safety parameters. /p.s./
