TIRANA, June 21/ATA/ Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku reacted to today’s meeting of the Special Parliamentary Commission “For deepening of reforms for good governance, the rule of law and anti-corruption for Albania 2030 in the European Union”, where the opposition was again absent.
Head of the National Council of European Integration and Commission of European Affairs wrote in the social media that this commission is a duplication of the National Integration Council because it has not only appropriated all the staff of European Integration and Commission, but also the functions and power of this Council.
But, according to her, the real problem of this commission is that it seeks to place under tutelage the experts of the independent institutions and put them under influence of Chairman of the commission Xhafaj.
“The integration process and the fight against corruption needs neither propaganda, nor big words. Tabaku also wrote that the establishment of joint working groups with institutions that are and should be independent, under the dependence of this commission, which is more a one-party commission, violates the independence of independent institutions./p.s./
