TIRANA, June 19/ATA/ Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj received today the distinguished singer Shkurte Fejza and gave her as a present the “Key to Tirana city” award.
“You have inspired us especially in the joys with our National Team. Today, in Tirana there are many citizens of Kosovo, but also from other countries. But, the fact that your song “I got words” was exactly like that thread that connected Albanians wherever they are, in one big red and black piece, is something extraordinary. You must be very proud for these 50 years of love that you have given us unconditionally and sparingly” said Veliaj.
He also gave the good news that on Thursday Shkurte Fejza will give a concert at the Palace of Congresses, marking her 50-year career. “Tomorrow at the Palace of Congresses, at 20.00, Shkurte Fejza has her concert, the 50th anniversary of her career. We are very grateful and we love you very much”, said Veliaj.
Singer Shkurte Fejza said that she is very honored with this award that she receives today from the Municipality of Tirana, a fulfillment of her youthful dream. /p.s./
