TIRANA, June 6 /ATA/- By Maela Marini/ The Assembly approved on Thursday with 73 votes in favor and 7 against the draft decision “On the composition of the Special Parliamentary Committee “For Deepening Reforms for Good Governance, Rule of Law and Anticorruption for Albania 2030 in the European Union.”
According to the draft decision approved today in the Assembly, the commission will be chaired by SP MP Fatmir Xhafaj and will have 11 members, while the deputy chairperson will be proposed by the opposition.
Also, with 73 votes in favor and 7 against, the parliament approved the draft decision “On the composition of the Special Commission to coordinate and supervise all institutional actions to combat disinformation and other forms of foreign interference in the country’s democratic processes. ”
The commission will consist of 11 members and will be chaired by the deputy of the SP, Erion Braçe, while the vice-chairman will be proposed by the opposition.
In today’s session, the Assembly approved with 73 votes in favor the annual report of the activities of the Water Regulatory Authority (ERRU) for the year 2023.
The Assembly approved with 73 votes in favor and 15 against some additions and changes to the law “On Civil Status.”
The draft law “On the ratification of the agreement, between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Republic of Turkey, on development cooperation and the status of the TIKA Program Coordination Office in Albania” was approved with 88 votes in favor.
The Assembly approved with 91 votes pro and none against the draft law “On the ratification of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, between the Republic of Albania and Ukraine.”
