TIRANA, June 3 /ATA/ – Partly to mostly cloudy skies are forecast to prevail mainly in the mountainous and remote areas in Albania’s east in particular with few scattered and light rain, thunderstorms and hailstorms as the country will be influenced by relatively unstable weather conditions on Monday due to humid air masses of western origin, according to the Military Meteorological Service.
A few very isolated light rain showers are possible early this morning and by midday in the country’s hilly areas. Fog and misty conditions are due to sweep across valleys due to rainfall.
The wind will blow southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 1 to 5 m/sec, and at an average velocity of 6 to 9 m/sec along the coastal areas.
