TIRANA, June 1 /ATA/ – Albanian national side began Saturday preparations for Euro 2024 with the first training session after their arrival in Graz, Austria, a day ago.

The team, under management of the Brazilian head coach Sylvinho and the technical staff, trained for more than one hour and the training session went normally.

Press service at the Albanian Soccer Federation said that forward Taulant Seferi joined the team and is attending training sessions regularly and is in good physical condition, like the rest of the team.

The squad is scheduled to hold a final training session on Sunday ahead of the first friendly against modest Lichtenstein on Monday, June 3, at Haladas stadium in Hungary at 20:00 hrs.

Earlier this week, Albania’s Brazilian head coach Sylvio Mendes Campos Júnior (Sylvinho) has named his provisional 28-man squad for Euro 2024.

After the preparatory phase, Sylvinho will have to cut down to 26 for the finals in Germany. Albania’s national side will take on Italy in their first Euro 2024 game on June 15 in Dortmund.
