TIRANA, May 10/ATA/ Head of the High Court Sokol Sadushi stated today that the difficulties in the administration of justice have been considerable.
In his speech at the event held on occasion of May 10, the Day of Justice, Sadushi emphasized two main points, the relationship between the courts and the governing bodies of the system and the review control of judicial rulings.
Sadushi said that, “It is certain that the difficulties in the administration of justice have been considerable, as they continue to be present. I always remember the time when the Supreme Court resumed work in April 2020, at the peak of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, with only 3 judges, with half of the administration available and with 36,000 cases waiting to be tried”.
Although, he added, “The High Court has a significant improvement in the post-reform situation, thanks to the maximum work and commitment of the judges and administrative staff, but also to the High Judicial Council that is completed with the number of judges, there are still insufficient human, material and financial resources”./r.e/p.s./
