TIRANA, April 29 /ATA/ – Albania and the United Kingdom have a strong culture of defense cooperation and partnering together.
The Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi shared Monday a gallery of pictures showing the recent Strong Eagle joint exercise between Albanian armed forces and UK, saying the training further strengthened the professional ties between the Albanian and British troops.
Defense Minister said that success of Strong Eagle exercise is significant testimony to future cooperation between the two countries.
“For the Special Operations Regiment and the British Special Operations Brigade, the exercise offered an opportunity to further strengthen professional relations and develop operational skills,” Peleshi said.
This year, over the course of a month the Albanian Special Operations Regiment and troops from the UK’s Special Operations Brigade trained together during the fifth Strong Eagle exercise.
