TIRANA, April 22 /ATA/ The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Engjëll Agaçi, reacted after his name was mentioned by the Italian broadcast Report on Rai Tre, during a reportage on the migrant agreement between Italy and Albania.
Rai 3 said that the key man behind the pact with Italy is Engjëll Agaçi, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, a former lawyer of drugs traffickers.
In a reaction published in the Italian media “La repubblica”, Agaçi announced that he will sue the broadcast for defamation.
The comparison made by the TV program, according to Agaçi, is very harmful to his reputation.
“I renounced the legal profession ten years ago and the comparison made by the TV program Report is very damaging to my reputation. I have already instructed my Italian lawyers to file a defamation lawsuit against the broadcast of the Italian state television. Sources must be double checked and so must the news,” Agaçi said in his reaction.
