TIRANA, April 18 /ATA/ The mayor of Vlora, Ermal Dredha, received on Thursday in a meeting the EU ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato.
Dredha said that “in his first official visit to Vlora, Ambassador Gonzato and I discussed major projects in the pipeline and those in progress.”
“We are grateful to the European Union for major infrastructure projects that it has financed in the territory of the municipality of Vlora, but also for the urban waste treatment plant in Sherishte,” he said.
Mayor Dredha said that “we also talked about the “EU for Youth” project, a very good opportunity for the employment of young people, to build their future here, in Albania, and contribute to Vlora on its path to development. ”
Gonzato also participated on Thursday in the “Youth Guarantee” activity that took place in Vlora.
