TIRANA, 15 April/ATA/ Elbasan has several tourist and historical points that every tourist should visit.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media several views from Gjinari and Funari, two tourist spots of Elbasan where many local and foreign visitors go every year.
“From the depths of Gjinar to the inspiring landscapes of Funar, Elbasan is a must-visit tourist destination,” wrote Rama.
The picturesque Gjinar, with the mountain of Bukanik, where the snow melts in July, is a mountainous tourist place. There are many tourists who enjoy the alpine freshness of the Bukanik Mountains, which are no more than 25 kilometers away from Elbasan, in every season. In tourist Gjinar, there are many cultural monuments, among them “Dushku and Lleshan”, the Tomb of Kostandin Shpataraku, fragments of old cobbled streets, etc.
While Funari is located 20 kilometers away from the city of Elbasan. In recent years, it has become a destination for adventure sports enthusiasts.
In Funar, apart from the beauty that nature offers, you can practice adventure sports such as parachuting, kayaking on the lake, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking and climbing mountain trails.
Funari is an area rich in forests and with four lakes or reservoirs, where two are located inside the village and two others are hidden behind the mountains that surround it.
Until recently, Funari was almost forgotten in terms of the amortized infrastructure itself, since it took three hours to go there by road, but today you can reach it in one hour. Rich in pine and oak forests, Funari offers a healthy climate that, if we add the local traditional cuisine of the area, it becomes the ideal place to spend the weekend.
But, not only that, this area can also be a destination for fishing enthusiasts./k.s/r.e/p.s./
