TIRANA, April 8/ATA/ Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj spoke on the arrest of three directors of the institution he heads saying that the municipality has made available to the Prosecution Office every document it has required.
“The Municipality has a staff of 11 thousand people. It organizes about 1 thousand competitions for municipal works according to certain procedures. So, there can be problems”, said Veliaj.
He denied to have been called by the Prosecution Office to give his evidence. But, he stressed that together with the prime minister, he supports the new justice.
He also denied rumors of any confiscation of files by the prosecution, but highlighted the cooperation. /k.s/r.e/p.s./
