TIRANA, April 4 /ATA/- Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, said during the official ceremony on the 75th anniversary of the Alliance at the NATO headquarters in Brussels that a strong Euro-Atlantic bond is essential for the peace and security of future generations.
“As a small nation, we deeply understand the strength of unity. Strategic competition, new threats, cyber and disinformation campaigns require resilience. We are encouraged by NATO’s increasing focus in these areas, ensuring its continued importance in safeguarding our common future,” said Minister Hasani.
Highlighing the role of the Alliance over the years, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs also focused on the region.
“You saved the lives of people in our region, the lives of people from Bosnia- Herzegovina and Kosovo, who suffered ethnic cleansing,” the chief diplomat Hasani said.
