TIRANA, April 3/ATA/ Interior Minister Taulant Balla said that the Fire Protection and Rescue Service in Albania is being transformed and approaches the standards of EU member states.
During a meeting with representatives of the relevant bodies and donor countries in our country, Balla said that together with partner organizations and countries, there is being discussed the reform plan of this service.
“Together with partner organizations and countries, engaged in assistance over the years for this service, we discussed our plan to reform this service, the firefighting fleet, the promotion of professionals in the direction/ management and the dignified financial evaluation of the hardworking people in this service”, said Balla.
“We must do the utmost to be able to establish in Albania the successful models in Europe of voluntary fire protection and rescue associations”, stated the minister. /r.e/p.s./
