TIRANA, March 29 /ATA/ – “More than 55 water and sanitation utilities across the Western Balkans have stepped up to join the first cohort of the Utility of the Future Western Balkan Project,” the World Bank Office Albania said in a release.
WB announced that 15 utilities from Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Serbia will be chosen to embrace the Utility of the Future program.
“This transformative journey towards sustainable water management in the Western Balkan region will offer one year of mentorship, in-depth capacity building, and financial support for their initiatives,” WB said.
In a series of information sessions organized across the Western Balkan countries, our Utility of the Future Center of Excellence experts have provided invaluable insights into the program’s advantages and how utilities can engage effectively.
