TIRANA, March 25/ATA/ The Bank of Albania announces that the value of foreign investments in 2023 hit 1.49 billion Euros, an increase of 8.7% compared to the previous year.
During the fourth quarter of the year, the Bank of Albania estimated the foreign direct investments at 402 million Euros, with an annual increase of 3.6%.
According to the Bank of Albania, during the fourth quarter of 2023, the foreign direct investments were mainly concentrated in real estate, to the extent of 26%.
Next is ranked the financial inter-mediation sector at 17%, followed by the hydrocarbons sector at 16%, the energy sector at 10% and communication at 4%./r.e/p.s./
