TIRANA, March 25 /ATA/ Minister of Interior Taulant Balla hailed on Monday the operation of the Durrës Police, which light of monitoring of social media has identified seven young people in possession of firearms.
Balla said that the illegal possession of firearms by young people and the act of showing off firearms on social media require the maximum commitment of the State Police, to identify and punish them.
The Durrës Police finalized the “Shooters” operation, in which 6 citizens were arrested and 1 minor was prosecuted for carrying firearms (Kalashnikov) without a permit and for shooting at night, with the aim of posting videos on TikTok.
The father of one of those arrested was also put under arrest after another firearm was found in his apartment.
