Rama: Gov plans to cut income tax on high salaries and offer a new package on agri-tourism

TIRANA, March 23/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that the government plans to lower the income tax for the high salaries by June.

“We have a plan according to which beginning from June of the current year we will reduce the income tax for those who have the highest salaries as employees. One of the reasons to support this decision is that if we do not provide people with better services, then we cannot keep high tax on people. According to the current level of services, we cannot claim to impose more taxes”, said Rama during the conversation with some representatives of agri-tourism in the country in the 9th episode of the 3rd season of his FLASIM (Let’s Talk) Podcast.

The prime minister also said that the government is preparing a new stimulus package for all those who will return to invest in agri-tourism.

“We haven’t raised taxes for a long time. We are preparing a new package for all those who return to invest in agri-tourism, which will be a more facilitating package than what we have today, because agri-tourism is fantastic”, stated Rama./r.e/p.s./
