TIRANA, March 12 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ The chairman of the SP parliamentary group, Blendi Çuçi, considered a positive news the fact that the opposition sat down to discuss at the Conference of Parliamentary Group Chairpersons.
In a media statement after the meeting of the Conference of Parliamentary Group Chairpersons, Çuçi said that “today I was left with the impression that we picked up the dialogue and conversation where we left off in October 2023.”
“We agreed in principle on resuming the normal parliamentary life. Today, we decided at the Conference of Parliamentary Group Chairpersons to determine the scope of work for the two investigative commissions proposed by them,” said Çuçi.
According to him, the return to the meeting of the conference of parliamentary group chairpersons was a clear signal of a normal parliamentary life in the country.
“I believe that they are convinced that their action got them nowhere. The opposition chose to boycott the bodies of the parliament and launch that action regarding which, I believe, they are already convinced that it got them nowhere and decided to return to the normal parliamentary life”, he said.
