TIRANA, March 4 /ATA/ – Opposition lawmakers caused commotion in Parliament, disrupting Thursday’s plenary session that lasted only seven minutes.
Today’s session began with the Democratic Party MPs blowing whistles to disrupt proceedings.
Opposition lawmakers blocked the rostrum holding banners and blowing whistles while Parliament Speaker Lindita Nikolla was announcing the session’s agenda.
Opposition lawmakers also prevented their colleagues from the ruling majority from taking the floor to raise concerns of the citizens in their constituencies, as today’s agenda included discussions about issues and problems voiced by the voters.
