TIRANA, February 27/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that the Russian aggression against Ukraine poses a threat even to the Western Balkans.
At the joint press conference with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, after Tirana Summit on Ukraine, PM Rama said that what is happening in Ukraine can be repeated in different ways, putting in question the very foundations of our world order, based on rules.
Rama emphasized that there are many lessons that can be learned from our history in the Balkans, but what is happening today in Ukraine, he added, is another lesson.
Speaking about the Western Balkans, Rama said that it is a region that has problems, but we must cooperate on things in the common interest.
Therefore, PM Rama emphasized, we should not play with the fire and we should maintain a clear stance in relation to Ukraine because it has to do with us, too./p.s./
