TIRANA, Feb 26 /ATA/ A new tourist attraction has been added to Berat for adventurers and nature lovers.
The mayor of Berat, Ervin Demo, shared views of the Gorica trail, a destination steeped in cultural and natural values.
There is also a wooden observation point for visitors on this path.
“Hiking along a trail cleared and laid out preserving the natural habitat of the area, in the fresh air of our city, with a rare panoramic beauty, what more do you need? Nice pictures? We thought about this part too! You can also take them in the square above the ruins of the Gorica castle. There you will find the wooden observation point. 180 degrees above the city, where you have in the palm of your hand the Castle, the valley of the Osum river, the whole 2500-year-old city”, said Demo.
The trail is located on the hill of the “Gorica” neighborhood and the view on its way up is wonderful. On this path lie also the ruins of the castle of Gorica, which date back to the first half of the 3rd century.
